‘Blue Rush’ Podcast Episode 129: Do Giants Stand a Chance Against NFL-Best Eagles?

Sunday could get ugly for the Giants.

They are winless in their last three games and coming off a lackluster tie against the Commanders. This week, it’s the NFL-best Eagles coming to MetLife Stadium to take on a Giants team limping their way into this game. They are battered and bruised and are just trying to scratch out a few wins to sneak into the playoffs. Getting one of those wins is unlikely against the 11-1 Eagles.

To preview Giants-Eagles, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Paul Schwartz and Brandon London. Two-time Giants Super Bowl champion Dave Tollefson stops by this week.

  • EAGLES ARE TOUGH: Giants are very overmatched here going up against the best team in the NFL. Tae Crowder and Rodarius Williams speaking out on Twitter. This defense is struggling. Tynes was fired up this week talking about the defense and which players should be out there for the Giants.
  • DAVE TOLLEFSON INTERVIEW: The two-time Giants Super Bowl champion takes us inside the trenches. He explains how the Giants defense will have to try and contain a dual-threat QB in Jalen Hurts. He says that the defense should put the game on the defensive line and let them get after it.
  • KEY MATCHUPS: Can the Giants read the misdirection? Eagles can run with Hurts and Miles Sanders. Giants have to create negative plays. The Giants linebackers are going to be key in this game. Giants need to return kickoffs and punts against a team not good in containing kick or punt returns.
  • KNOW YOUR ENEMY: NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Barrett Brooks takes us inside the Eagles side of this matchup.
  • GIANTS-EAGLES PREDICTIONS: The crew is taking the Eagles across the board in a blowout. They are just too good for a banged-up Giants team.
