It feels like a lock that Robert Saleh will be back next season.
But will Mike LaFleur?
That’s the big question as the Jets get ready to end their season on Sunday. The offense has scuffled. The team might end the season on a six-game losing streak. Their quarterback play has been atrocious. Does LaFleur end up getting the pink slip?
That’s the big topic of conversation on the second to last episode of the season of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast with Brian Costello and me. The Post’s Steve Serby joined us.

- DAMAR HAMLIN: Reacting to the sad situation that happened in the game Monday night and sending our prayers Hamlin’s way.
- MIKE LAFLEUR’S JOB STATUS: Robert Saleh said it’s not fair to point the finger at Mike LaFleur. Should the Jets fire LaFleur as offensive coordinator? Coz doesn’t see a strong OC coming here like a Frank Reich in a tough spot where it could be one-and-done. There are other jobs that are more attractive with new head coaches. Could another loss Sunday be the end for LaFleur? You have invested two years in developing him as a coordinator. Coz argues that the QB play has been terrible and there haven’t been good players on the offense outside of Garrett Wilson. I think with a new QB, go get a new OC that has done it in the NFL before. Not saying it is all LaFleur’s fault, but the offense has been a disaster in his two years here.
- JETS @ DOLPHINS PREVIEW: This game means nothing for the Jets and everything for the Dolphins. It will likely be Mike White vs. Skylar Thompson. This is going to be an ugly game. A loss could get the Jets in the top 10 in the draft if they get some help. A win could mean they go from 13th to 16-17th potentially. Coz is taking the Dolphins. I’m taking the Jets, moreso for the reason they will win the game that doesn’t matter after losing the game that mattered.

- LAFLEUR: Serby says to bring him back for one more year with Saleh. If they don’t make the playoffs next season then you can make a change.
- QUARTERBACK: Derek Carr would be the best bet. Jimmy Garoppolo has not been able to stay healthy. Either one should make Jets fans happy.
- ZACH WILSON: You can not trade him when his value is this low. Give him one more year here as a backup and try developing him. Would not give up on him after two years. Could be tough to keep Wilson, a new franchise QB and Mike White. That will be likely $40+ million a year at one position.
