Our way.

That has been the Giants’ motto this season. They have been winning games their way. They did it again on Sunday in Minnesota. Daniel Jones put together a historic performance to propel Big Blue in his first career playoff game. He looked like a 10-year vet that had been there before, delivering balls to his receivers and using his legs to dominate the run game. He threw for 301 yards with two passing TDs and ran for 78 yards. Franchise QB.

It’s on to Philadelphia for Brian Daboll’s bunch as they head to the Divisional Round Saturday for Part III against the Eagles. To react to the 31-24 win over the Vikings in the wild-card round and look ahead, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Paul Schwartz, Brandon London and me. Tune in to the episode below and watch the episode on the New York Post Sports YouTube page.

Blue Rush Podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Paul Schwartz, Brandon London & Jake Brown:

  • DANNY DIMES: Daniel Jones is about to get a whole lot of money this offseason. Jones was brilliant throwing and running the ball. The Giants had zero turnovers. Jones put up a historic performance in his first career playoff game. He dominated on the ground, outrushing Saquon Barkley. The offense has scored 31 points in two of its last three games and really the last two with the starters.
  • SPREADING THE LOVE: Isaiah Hodgins and Jones have developed incredible chemistry as the season has gone on. Hodgins was remarkable on Sunday. His 19-yard catch was a great grab. Mike Kafka has done a tremendous job calling plays and confusing defenses. Darius Slayton had a good game outside of the big drop. He was upset with himself, but the Giants pick each other up. Daboll had him keep his chin up. He continues to prove he should be Coach of the Year.
  • THE DEFENSE: Adoree’ Jackson being back was massive for this defense. The Giants had zero sacks and still won. Their secondary did not let Justin Jefferson or Dalvin Cook beat them. Wink Martindale drew up a heck of a game plan, not having to blitz often. Cordale Flott made a huge play. He’s a very good player.
  • GIANTS @ EAGLES SATURDAY: Eagles do not want to play this Giants team. Giants absolutely have a good chance of winning this game. They are unafraid, playing good football and healthy, outside of Azeez Ojulari. The Eagles are nervous in that building. Momentum is on the Giants’ side.
