Jackson Mahomes is at it again.
The younger brother of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is taking his social media followers along with him at Super Bowl 2023, and his posts are unsurprisingly cringeworthy.
Jackson, who had his fair share of social media controversies last season, even snapped a few bathroom selfies at State Farm Stadium, where his big brother and the Chiefs are facing the Eagles. The TikTok star, who boasts over one million followers on the video app, also posed for a selfie with his sister-in-law, Brittany Matthews, and his niece, Sterling Skye, who turns 2 years old later this month.
Other posts on Jackson’s Instagram page include photos and videos of the field before kickoff, where he posed for solo shots.
“It’s time,” Jackson wrote in one Instagram Story that appeared to be taken from a private suite.
Though Jackson has yet to stir up social media drama at Super Bowl 2023, he sparked outrage in October 2021 when he filmed a TikTok video on the field where the then-Washington Football Team honored the late Sean Taylor.
Jackson later apologized on Twitter, writing in part, “I meant absolutely no disrespect to him or his family.”
Ahead of Super Bowl 2023, Gracie Hunt — the daughter of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt — defended Jackson when she was asked whether there is a misconception about him following criticism over his social media posts.

“I think Patrick Mahomes has a wonderful family – from Brittany to Jackson,” Hunt told Fox News Digital. “They are wonderful people and we are so blessed to have them as part of our organization and are huge rocks in Patrick’s life.”
“I do think that we live in a culture that’s often quick to criticize and slow to forgive. But I think we need to be one that’s quick to forgive and slow to criticize.”
The Chiefs trail the Eagles, 24-21, in the third quarter.
