Kyle Kuzma crushes ‘delusional’ Spencer Dinwiddie on Twitter as beef continues: ‘Dins–ttie’

Spencer Dinwiddie clearly got under his former teammate Kyle Kuzma’s skin.

Dinwiddie, now with the Nets, appeared on FanDuel TV’s “Run It Back” show on Wednesday and called Kuzma a “socialite” and questioned his day-to-day commitment to basketball. Dinwiddie said the Wizards forward is “probably not even a third star on a good team, and if you were the Lakers would’ve kept you.”

“I played with the guy,” Dinwiddie said. “I know what the priorities were.”

Dinwiddie also repeatedly quoted Draymond Green, who has said that “insecurity is loud” and applied it to Kuzma.

Kuzma responded in a nuclear Twitter thread.

“Ok so since I’m so ‘famous’ @FanDuelTV & @SDinwiddie_25 let me give you all some clout. I’m usually unbothered but things on the internet but I will not allow this delusional guy to continue to talk about my teammates and I,” Kuzma tweeted.

“1.) insecurity is loud? The wizards & I have so much real estate on Dins–ttie island. This guy got signed by a team 60ms and was traded before the following season was over.

“2.) what in the world have you won in this league? Lol you’ve been bounced around like a basketball my boy

“3.) You can thank KD & Kyrie and the for spearheading 34 wins before the all star break (11-13 after the break) for your playoffs.”

The beef originally began when Dinwiddie was on the Mavericks and Kuzma thought his former teammate was belittling the Wizards when Dinwiddie made a comment to the effect of it being unacceptable to lose to Washington.

The two players played together on the Wizards during part of last season.

In his FanDuel TV spot, Dinwiddie had also referred to himself as potentially a second-best player on a very good team, a status Kuzma mocked.

“4) 2nd option??? More like 2nd point guard Lol my man I watched you for two months at the end of your Wizards tenure (being the second option) average 8-4-4. Sounds good but glad you’re hooping now!” Kuzma continued in the Twitter thread.

“5.) and yup! I got a bag coming. stop hating lol.”

Kuzma concluded the rant making fun of the drop in Bitcoin, the cryptocurrency Dinwiddie has said he wished to paid in.

“The only way you’ll ever be worth your contract is if the NBA finally gives you your wish of getting paid in crypto *check the markets*” Kuzma tweeted, adding an emoji for a chart headed downward. “Enjoy the clicks! Go @sixers!”

Bitcoin is currently priced around $30,000; it is way down from its 2021 high of over $66,000, but also up a good amount from its late 2022 low around $17,000.
