It wasn’t 8 miles — just 80 feet.
Eminem walked his adopted daughter, Alaina Scott, down the aisle last week at her Michigan wedding to Matt Moeller, she dished to People.
“I had an 80-foot-long black-and-white checkered aisle, and my dad walked me down the aisle,” Scott, 30, shared. “He wasn’t going to miss that.”
The news follows speculation that the “Lose Yourself” rapper, 50, didn’t attend the June 9 bash because he wasn’t spotted in photos of the “Great Gatsby glam” celebration that drew 125 close friends and family members.
“Getting married is a sacred thing, and we wanted to be surrounded by people who share in our daily lives,” Scott added. “We did something super untraditional and didn’t allow many plus ones. This was important to us.”
Alaina’s younger sister, Hailie Jade, was her maid of honor, donning a black gown for the festivities.
She added that her “magical” nuptials were “something out of a movie,” noting several Old Hollywood-esque touches such as Packard limousines from the 1940s and 2,000 white roses lining the aisle.
“I wanted classic black and white with pops of color,” Alaina gushed, explaining that she featured red, coral, orange and peach floral accents.
“These are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and I’m just so grateful to be loved the way I am by everyone,” Alaina said. “None of this would have been possible without my dad. I’m beyond blessed.”
She posted about the big day on social media, writing: “June 9, 2023, simply one of the best days of my life🤍 in this lifetime and in the next, my soul will always find yours🌹.”
Alaina’s momentous occasion follows years of tragedy.
Her mother, Dawn Scott, battled drug addiction before dying in 2016 from a suspected heroin overdose.
Scott is the twin sister of Kim Scott, Eminem’s wife from 1999 to 2001. They remarried and divorced again in 2006.
The “Mockingbird” singer adopted Alaina in the early 2000s.
Hailie, 27, is the “8 Mile” star’s only biological daughter. Kim Scott is her mother.
Eminem adopted Kim’s other daughter, Stevie Laine Scott, in 2005. Stevie is now 21.
