The Giants added a defensive lineman on Thursday, signing Kobe Smith, a well-traveled 24-year-old who has yet to appear in an NFL game.
To make room on the roster, wide receiver Dre Miller was waived/injured.
Smith, who most recently played for the San Antonio Brahmas of the XFL, was not drafted out of South Carolina in 2020 and signed with the Titans.
He has also been on practice squads with the Buccaneers, Eagles and Falcons.
Last year, the 6-foot-2, 312-pound Smith attended the Giants’ minicamp as a tryout player.
