Inside Shannon Sharpe’s last day at ‘Undisputed’ as he teases ‘next chapter’

Shannon Sharpe is excited about what’s next.

After his tearful goodbye on Tuesday’s installment of “Undisputed,” the Hall of Fame tight end shared a video montage of his last day at FS1 on Twitter.

“I can’t thank you all enough,” Sharpe wrote in his caption. “From the people at Fox, to my Family, Friends, and loyal Followers. Join me as I go into my next chapter.”

Sharpe arrived at the “Undisputed” studio behind the wheel of a grey BMW with black rims and backed into a handicap spot in the parking garage.

He then shared a handshake with fellow Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd in the elevator before he entered his dressing room, which was decorated with balloons and photos — including one that showed him posing shirtless for a mirror selfie.

Sharpe looked around at the “thank you” balloons and Randy’s Donuts (his favorite) and said, “These guys are the best man. They went all out for ya boy.”

After suiting up in a yellow plaid ensemble, Sharpe hit the makeup chair to get ready for his final show.

He also shared emotional farewells with his hair and makeup team and stylist.

“One last time,” Sharpe said to someone in the control room as he walked to set.

As he gave shoutouts to his team, including his assistant, Shelly, Sharpe shared a sweet moment with his oldest daughter, Kayla.

“I did it all for you guys,” Sharpe said while hugging his daughter. “You, your brother, your other sister, I love you more than words could say.”

Sharpe then shared a final goodbye and firm handshake with Bayless.

“Skip Bayless I appreciate you, man,” Sharpe said.

“I love you, man,” Bayless replied.

Sharpe thanked the show staff and security as he exited the studio and shared many handshakes.

The video ended with a toast backstage, where Sharpe poured some bubbly for his team.

“To seven great years and many more to come,” Sharpe said. “I’ll never forget what everybody in this room has done for me and helped me grow as an entertainer and a man. Thank you so much.

“It’s not the end, but the beginning.”

Someone in the background can be heard saying, “Congratulations to leveling up.”

Dan Orlovsky replied to Sharpe’s tweet with a Dr. Evil meme with the caption, “Come join us!” — seemingly recruiting him to ESPN.

Pat McAfee, whose $85 million deal with ESPN begins in the fall, also recruited Sharpe to the media giant.

The Post was first to report on May 31 that Sharpe was leaving “Undisputed.”

Sharpe said Wednesday that he wasn’t sure what his next move will be.

“You’ll see me again somewhere, I just don’t know where,” he told Bayless, whose sendoff for his co-host shocked many — even Stephen A. Smith.

Bayless and Sharpe shared an emotional goodbye on the show after weeks of reported tension between the co-hosts.
