Joe Burrow isn’t a big Taylor Swift fan: ‘Just not me’

The Cincinnati Bengals’ mandatory minicamp on Wednesday revealed a lot about Joe Burrow — the star quarterback is not a Swiftie.

Taylor Swift is currently tearing it up on her 52-stop Eras Tour that features songs from all 10 of her albums.

The singer is playing at Paycord Stadium –– Cincinnati’s home turf –– on June 30 and July 1, but Burrow, 26, seems uninterested in a ticket to one of the most coveted concerts of the year.

“I have a lot of respect for what Taylor Swift has done with her career,” Burrow said to the media following Wednesday’s camp. “I can’t say that I’m listening to too much Taylor Swift on the speakers in the headphones.”

Burrow, who passed 4,475 yards for 35 touchdowns in the 2022 season, said while his music taste is “all over the place” he draws the line at country.

“I know a lot of people that are [fans], but that’s just not me,” Burrow said. “I’ve heard the tour is a lot of fun, though. Maybe I’ll stop by.”

The New York Jets’ new quarterback Aaron Rodgers made sure to “stop by” when Swift was performing  at MetLife Stadium –– where he’ll be playing this season ––  on May 27.

Rodgers is unashamedly a Swiftie, confirmed in a TikTok video the Jets posted on May 24 ahead of Swift’s arrival in East Rutherford, NJ.

In the video, the QB is asked what his favorite Swift song is.

“Too many. Too many to count,” Rodgers said.  “Anything off of Folklore probably. August, The 1.”

Perhaps a stop at the Eras Tour in Cincinnati will change Burrows’ mind as he prepares for the upcoming NFL season.

The Bengals lost in the 2022 AFC championship to the Kansas City Chiefs, who went on to win Super Bowl LVII –– but now it’s time to ‘Shake it Off’ with a clean slate ahead of them.
