Shaquille O’Neal buys family a washer and dryer at Home Depot

Shaquille O’Neal is making the most out of his post-basketball career.

Not only does the NBA Hall-of-Famer entertain audiences with charismatic quips on TNT, he also makes generous donations to people he meets in public.

In a viral video posted Wednesday, Shaq befriended a family in Home Depot and — and purchased them a washer and dryer.

“What are y’all buying?” he asks a pair of women walking the aisles.

“We are buying a washer and dryer,” one responded.

When O’Neal nonchalantly says “I’m gonna pay for it,” their joy spills out.

Two women are seen embracing the NBA superstar, taking photographs, and repeating “bless you” to the gentle seven-foot giant.

Shaq went to the Home Depot to film a music video for his new song, “I know I got it,” which was released under his music name, DJ Diesel, and features Nitti.

In the video, Shaq wears an orange Home Depot apron and walks around the store, rapping out lyrics like “Should write a book ’bout every step on my way up the ladder” while standing on a ladder in the home improvement store.

The family to who Shaq gifted the washer and dryer is also pictured in the video.

Shaq went to Home Depot following an Instagram exchange in which he expressed support for viral video content creator Ariana Josephine, who also goes by “Home Depot Girl.”

Fans in the store took notice of the seven-footer's presence, taking pictures and videos.

It isn’t the first time the NBA legend has surprised unexpecting customers in a store with gifts.

Last August, he told People Magazine that giving back to his fans is one of the most rewarding things he does.

“My favorite thing to do is when I’m in Best Buy, Walmart, if I see a kid, get them something that I see he’s looking at,” O’Neal said.

Shaq, a four-time NBA champion — thrice with the Lakers, once with the Heat — is a current analyst on “Inside the NBA” on TNT, a popular basketball program that he sits on with Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley.

It’s already a thrill for any fan to meet an NBA champion, but if fans are lucky, they might get a little more than just a photograph if they get a chance to meet Shaq.
