Why can’t the Jets do something special this season? Why can’t they win a Super Bowl?
The Jets have dominated the offseason and the headlines.
Now it’s showtime.
Monday night it all begins at a raucous MetLife Stadium when the Jets take on their division rival Buffalo Bills.
The Jets have a chance to make an early statement to the Bills and to the rest of the NFL that they actually are a good football team, beyond the headlines.
It’s time for the Jets’ season preview edition of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast with me and Brian Costello.

- JETS SEASON PREVIEW: I open the show with a state of the Jets and why this is shaping up to be a special season. Why not the Jets? Coz and I dissect each position group, where they are strong and where they are weak.
- JETS SEASON PREDICTIONS: Coz is going with the gloomy side of things and saying the Jets go 8-9 and miss the playoffs. He thinks they lose the final two games of the season to miss out. I go the high route and say 10-7, a wild card spot and …a Super Bowl title. Call me crazy. But if everything pans out, the Jets have a team on paper that can compete for a championship. What a storyline it would be. “The ultimate Jets story is them winning the Super Bowl and I do hope I can write that story.” — Coz
- JETS-BILLS WEEK 1 PREVIEW/PREDICTIONS: Both Coz and I are taking the Jets on Monday night by a field goal. There will be all the hype in the world at MetLife Stadium. Jets have been good against Josh Allen. There will be tons of overreaction either way on Tuesday.

- PREDICTION: Believes the Jets win the AFC East and then we’ll see what happens.
- SMACK TALK: Fine with them being a little cocky, but they need to win. The defense needs to close games this season.
- OFFENSIVE LINE: Thinks they will be fine. Mekhi Becton will have a solid year and so will Laken Tomlinson. Duane Brown is a pro’s pro and old school like him.
- JETS COACHING: Is this the right coaching staff to take the Jets to the promised land?
- JETS-BILLS PREVIEW: Go win the game. This is one of the biggest games of the season for this team. They need to make a statement early.
