‘The Show’ Episode 69: Mark Canha talks Brewers success, Mets failures

Mark Canha joined “The Show” to discuss the Mets and Brewers. NY Post

Outfielder Mark Canha has been a big part of the Brewers’ success since he was dealt to Milwaukee from the Mets at the trade deadline.

He was this week’s guest on “The Show” podcast with Joel Sherman and Jon Heyman.

Canha discussed what has gone right in Milwaukee and what went wrong in New York.

‘The Show’ Podcast with Joel Sherman & Jon Heyman:

  • 2023 MLB BIGGEST SEASON STORYLINES: New rules were mostly a success this season. Padres were a World Series contender and may not finish .500. That was a shocking turn. Yankees and Mets both had incredibly disappointing seasons.

Brewers outfielder Mark Canha Interview:

  • TRADE TO BREWERS: Loves it in Milwaukee. It felt lighter going to Brewers. More relaxed and light-hearted on a team going to playoffs.
  • COMING FROM NY: Last year was gravy for most of year, but when the Mets were not good this year you feel how much heavier it is playing in NYC.
  • PHAM’S COMMENTS: Not surprised Tommy said that. He takes a lot more swings than most guys take on a daily basis. Can understand where he is coming from.
  • BREWERS SUCCESS: Pitching has been great. So many good bats.
  • BUCK: Loved playing for Buck Showalter. Attention to detail is unreal.
  • PETE ALONSO: Loved playing with him and he loves playing for the Mets. He’s an amazing human and an amazing baseball player.
