The Zach Wilson Experience needs to end.

The third-year Jets QB was terrible yet again on Monday night in the 27-6 Jets loss to the Chargers, dropping Gang Green to 4-4 on the season.

Wilson fumbled two times and could not get the offense to put the ball in the end zone yet again.

Eight touchdowns in eight games.

Eight fumbles in his last five games.

The excuses need to end.

The Jets need to avoid a collapse for a second straight year and make a QB change.

  • ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: The Jets need to go to Trevor Siemian or Tim Boyle here. This offense does not score when Zach Wilson is QB. There are plenty of issues surrounding the offense from offensive line to drops to penalties, but the constant is Wilson. He holds the ball too long, tries too hard to avoid a big throw down the field and is costing the Jets games. Their defense has masked his issues for long enough.
  • WILL HE GET BENCHED: Coach Saleh said they are not making a QB change, but should they be for the Jets matchup against the Raiders this week?
  • NATHANIEL HACKETT: He has not been a good playcaller. The predictability on Monday with a run on almost every first down was off the charts. There was absolutely no creativity. Hackett has done an awful job so far for this team. Allen Lazard is also going to need to catch the ball. The Jets paid him to be their No. 2 WR and he’s been a disappointment.
  • DEFENSE: There is only so much the defense can do. They had a couple of times where they probably should have picked up a fumble, but they should not need turnovers by the defense every week to win football games. They have got to be pissed off at how bad this offense is.
