You can’t win ’em all.

The Rangers finally lost a game in regulation on Monday in Dallas.

It marked their first regulation loss in a month with the last coming in Nashville on Oct. 19. The Blueshirts lost to a very good Stars team and have a tough schedule ahead that may truly test them to see how good Peter Laviolette’s squad is.

To react to the loss, look ahead and tell some tremendous Thanksgiving-time stories from over the years, it’s time for a new episode of “Up In The Blue Seats” podcast with Brian Boyle, Larry Brooks and Andrew Harts. Listen below or watch on YouTube.

Up In The Blue Seats Podcast with Brian Boyle, Larry Brooks & Andrew Harts:

  • RARE LOSS: Stars were the best team they have played this season. Dallas is not an easy place to play. Igor Shesterkin has not been sharp in his return. How does the goalie situation shape out the rest of the week? They need to get more 5-on-5 production from Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider.
  • TOUGH SCHEDULE AHEAD: Rangers will have some good tests ahead this week. Nine games in 16 days. They have had a pretty favorable schedule so far. We will have some better perspective of just how good the Rangers are after this stretch. It’s great to have challenges and they have to attack them.
  • THANKSGIVING MEMORIES: Brian and Larry look back to their favorite Thanksgiving-time memories. Brian tells a story of a fight he got into on the ice with Zdeno Chara in Boston with family and friends there watching.
