Black Monday was very odd for the New York Giants.
They fired OL coach Bobby Johnson and special teams coach Thomas McGaughey. That was not totally unexpected, as both the offensive line and special teams struggled.
After that is when things got odd for Big Blue.
Brian Daboll said in his press conference he expected Wink Martindale to be back, but without speaking to him yet.
They then fired his outside linebackers coach Drew Wilkins and his brother defensive assistant coach Kevin Wilkins.
Both were Wink’s guys and now they are gone, but he apparently was coming back?
Then, within an hour or so after that, it was reported that Wink was resigning.
As of now, that is not official yet.

- SAQUON: Is his career with the Giants over? Hard to see him take a contract the Giants offer. Don’t think the Giants tag him again. Hard to see a path of him coming back.
- MCKINNEY: Two interceptions on Sunday and his price will go up. Played every snap this season along with Bobby Okereke. Will he end up back with the Giants?
- QB: Should the Giants bring back Tyrod Taylor as the backup QB? Do the Giants draft a QB with the sixth pick? Daniel Jones says he’ll be ready for Week 1. Is he locked in to start?
