The Rangers were due at some point for a bit of a slump.

They have lost two games in a row and are 8-7-1 since Dec. 5.

For a team that came out firing out of the gates, they have come a bit down to earth.

But all teams go through it and the Blueshirts should be just fine.

Come join a new episode of “Up In The Blue Seats” podcast with Brian Boyle, Mollie Walker and Andrew Harts to hear about it.

Up In The Blue Seats Podcast with Brian Boyle, Mollie Walker & Andrew Harts:

  • RANGERS STRUGGLES: What happened in the last two games? They looked a bit lackadaisical.
  • OTHMANN: Sent back down to Hartford. First impressions of him. Go down to the AHL and get better. He probably was not the Rangers first choice to call up, but they had some injuries.
  • SHOOTOUTS: Teams practice shootouts all the time. Boyle scored five out of 14 times in shootouts.
  • CUTTER GAUTHIER: Can’t go after an amateur athlete without knowing everything. Fans have to grow up in Philly acting the way they did toward him.
