Olivia Dunne raises concern as she misses second straight LSU meet

Olivia Dunne was out of the LSU gymnastics lineup for a second straight meet on Friday as the Tigers fell to Missouri, 197.325-197.225.

The social media starlet was seen cheering on her teammates but did not take a turn on the floor exercise after sitting last week against Kentucky as well.

Dunne, who boasts nearly 13 million followers between her TikTok and Instagram pages, has risen to fame since the advent of name, image and likeness (NIL).

She posted a hotel room selfie in her leotard prior to the meet against Missouri, but could not crack the lineup in the eventual loss to the Tigers.

“We obviously are disappointed in that result,” LSU coach Jay Clark told reporters. “We still had a chance to win going into the last routine. The good news is that it’s a regular-season meet but the bad news is that it’s a missed opportunity. If we’re going to be the team that I think we are, then we can’t have this drop in execution on the road. We’re going to go home and get better.”

Dunne has posted videos recently that featured her training on the uneven bars and balance beam, though she usually features in the floor exercise.

In a video posted Friday, the 21-year-old flips and twists her way across the floor, though her reply in the comment section hints at a potential injury.

“We better be seeing a double layout in ur routine by the end of the season miss,” one user wrote.

“I just pray my body stays in one piece til the end of szn,” Dunne replied.

LSU’s next meet is Feb. 2 against Arkansas.
