Tom Brady roaster Nikki Glaser reveals what was off-limits for Netflix special

Tom Brady took the brunt of plenty of jokes about his career and personal life on Sunday during Netflix’s “The Roast of Tom Brady”, but there was one topic that one of the roasters said that no one would be joking about.

Comedian Nikki Glaser, who was one of the many who took their turns torching Brady, jumped on SiriusXM’s “The Howard Stern Show” on Monday, and said that the group decided to not make any jokes about Brady’s children.

Glaser said Brady’s three kids, Jack, Benjamin and Vivian, did not “ask” to be part of the experience, and therefore, the jokesters did not say anything about them during the Netflix show.

“We all collectively just decided not to involve his kids too much in anything because they didn’t ask for that,” Glaser said Monday.

“So, I couldn’t say, ‘Tom, hopefully, we make out at the after party — you can pretend I’m your son,” Glaser said, which was in reference to Brady and his then-11-year-old son Jack sharing a kiss while the former Patriots quarterback was getting a massage during the 2018 docuseries “Tom vs. Time,” something Brady faced criticism for.

“But yeah, there was things like that. We all just agreed, ‘Let’s not throw the kids under the bus.’ Even though I just did it here.”

However, Glaser was not afraid to take a shot at Brady for breaking things off with then-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan when she was pregnant with Jack in 2006.

“But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long,” Glaser said during the show. “You retired, then you came back and then you retired again. I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend, it’s tough.

“Hey, to be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant, he just thought she was getting fat.”

Glaser, 39, also revealed that she believed the seemingly fraught moment between Brady and Jeff Ross over the comedian’s Robert Kraft massage scandal joke was very real.

Kraft, in 2019, was charged with soliciting prostitution after an investigation into massage parlors in Florida, with police saying they recorded Kraft paying for sex acts at the Orchids of Asia spa in January 2019.

The case was ultimately dismissed later that year.

After Ross made the joke, Brady called him out onstage.

“Don’t say that s–t again,” Brady told Ross.

“I believe that was for real,” Nikki said of the moment between the ex-QB and Ross. “Based on the little knowledge I had of [the roast], I think Robert Kraft was not a confirmed guest to be there.”

“I was surprised when Jeff made that joke, but I do think that Tom was actually looking out for him.”

Kraft, for his part, got the best of Brady, calling out the former Patriots and Buccaneers star’s attempt to buy a piece of the Raiders

“Tom, good luck buying the Raiders. They did your favorite thing for you already — they got rid of Jimmy Garoppolo,” Kraft said to laughs.

Glaser said she also self-censored herself and cut out a few other jokes from her roast appearance, including some CTE-related ones.
